1. LOCATIONS TAPE
Locations Tape (“The Original”) is a combination of Blue Painters tape and Carpet gaff. This tape is perfect for temporary tape up/down solutions i.e. props, protecting floors and walls, hanging signs, and more. Locations tape is easily removed after use, leaving behind no residue or damage.
2. DOUBLE SIDED CARPET TAPE
This 2” tape is perfect for carpet installation and floor protection. With a double-sided adhesive coating, this carpet tape can stick to both the floor and a rug/object. This tape strongly holds carpets in place while still being removed with ease.
3. PAPER TAPE
Paper tape is light and easily removed. Great for hanging signage on location. Street Team Studios has paper tape in a variety of colors (white, black, yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, etc.) and sizes (1”, 2”, 3”, 4”), including matte black P743 photo tape.
4. BLUE PAINTERS TAPE
This specific blue paper tape is perfect for prepping surfaces such as drywall, glass, wood, etc. to be painted by designating which regions will and will not get painted. It is easily removed and light but it’s bright and distinct color allows for high visibility.
6. GREEN FROG TAPE
A lower tack grade of painters tape is Green Frog tape, which contains a highly absorbent polymer, preventing paint from bleeding through. Street Team Studios carries 1.4” Green Frog Low Tack tape. Locations prefer this tape to hang signs as the low tack is preferred for sensitive locations.
5. PACKING TAPE
Packing tape is made of clear polypropylene. This strong, clear, shiny tape is perfect for sealing boxes and packages for transport. On a set, this tape is perfect for packing boxes with props.
7. J-LAR TAPE
Like packing tape, J-Lar tape is clear and strong. It most often serves as label protection tape and binding tape. G&E department uses this tape for gel repair or adhering multiple gels together. J-Lar can be used to seal objects and packages as well. Street Team has both 1” JLAR Shurtape and 2” JLAR Shurtape in stock for purchase.
8. GAFF TAPE
Gaffer’s Tape is a strong adhesive tape made of durable cloth and used by a variety of departments on set due to its ability to stick to almost any surface (carpets, cables, wood, etc.). Gaff tape is strong and can hold items together with ease. Street Team Studios has a variety of colors (white, black, red, blue, green, yellow, orange, neon, grey, teal, brown, tan, etc.) and we have multiple sizes for most gaff. 9. CAUTION TAPE
Caution tape is essential for a locations department to ensure the safety of both your production team and the safety of your space/equipment. Street Team has 3” caution tape available for purchase in rolls of 1000 ft.
10. SNOT TAPE
Joe’s Sticky Stuff or “snot tape” is a double-sided, pressure sensitive, adhesive tape. It most often is used on productions to secure props or other objects into place without leaving behind a destructive residue. Snot tape is easily removed yet extremely sticky as it is made from butyl, a synthetic rubber. Street Team offers all three sizes: ½, ¾, & 1”.
